The upper part of Avenida de l’Aigüera will be closed to traffic from Monday the 15th due to hydraulic works
Vehicles weighing more than 3,500 kilos will only be allowed to travel as far as Hondo Street
The Department of Mobility announced today that the upper section of Avenida l’Aigüera, between Ondulada Street and Orxeta Street, will be closed to traffic starting this Monday, December 15, due to hydraulic works. Specifically, the pipe running between Orxeta Street and l’Aigüera Park will be replaced.
The Councillor for Mobility, Francis Muñoz, explained that “although the replacement of this pipe is not urgent, it was decided to carry it out now to get ahead of Operation Asphalt 2025, which will be carried out on Avenida de l’Aigüera in the coming weeks.” “This way,” he added, “the road will not have to be torn up again in a year.”
The closure is initially scheduled to last until December 23. During the closure, only residents with parking spaces in the affected section will be allowed to access. Furthermore, vehicles weighing more than 3,500 kilos will only be allowed to travel along Avenida de l’Aigüera up to the height of Calle Hondo, “since due to their dimensions they will not be able to go up Ondulada Street”.
