Toni Pérez opens in Onda Benidorm a section that will analyze the role of the city in all areas
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has been interviewed today in the morning magazine of Onda Benidorm, 'Benidorm en Directo', to review the news that affects the city from different areas, most of them from municipal management, but also those that from the provincial, autonomous, national or international level, directly or indirectly affect Benidorm.
This section, 'Benidorm protagonist', intends to count on the presence of the first mayor every Tuesday at 8:30 am, provided that the mayor's agenda allow his presence in the municipal radio station , which usually pays special attention to the analysis of government management on Tuesdays, while Thursdays it focuses on the analysis of the work of the municipal opposition.
In this first interview under this format, the mayor has emphasized local issues as important as strengthening the staff of the Local Police, advancing accessibility issues with pending works in different neighborhoods, as well as the enhancement of the historical heritage. In the autonomous area, Toni Pérez has stressed the importance of joint work and institutional loyalty with the Valencian Government in tourism, defending better financing for the sector and saying "no" to the tourist rate. While at the international level, he stressed the importance of maintaining maximum connection with the British market at the doors of Brexit.
