Tomorrow the exhibition “El Gran Poder de la Esperanza. Pasión Alicantina” is showed in Boca del Calvari museum
Tomorrow, at half past eight in the afternoon, at Boca del Calvari Museum, the exhibition “El Gran Poder de la Esperanza”. Pasión Alicantina will be inaugurated and ”will remain open to public, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 5:00 pm to 5:00 pm, from Saturday February 8 to Sunday March 1, 2020.
The Department of Fiestas, directed by Jesús Carrobles, has revitalized this exhibition that brings out heritage and nuances of imagery and processional trousseau, displaying mantles of both processional figures, crowns, headbands, lace, tunics, sayas, banners etc that during the Holy Week shows an exhibition of fervor.
The exhibition shows a good part of the material and intangible heritage of the Alicante Brotherhood: Nuestro Padre Jesús del Gran Poder and Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza Coronada.
The exhibition has taken shape by the initiative of Brotherhoods and the Major Board of the Holy Week in Benidorm and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Brotherhood, of which Estela Canales Martínez-Pina is the president.
