Thousands of children welcome Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar in Benidorm

Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar arrived shortly before the beginning of the Parade in Elche Park in Benidorm, where they were received by the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, and the 800 people who participated in the spectacular parade that began after 6:00 pm The delegation has toured Los Almendros Avenue, and the streets: Marte, Venus, Ruzafa and Herrerías and has finished at Plaza de la Navidad where their Majesties have been received by the children of Benidorm.

Throughout the parade it has been possible to see the impressive Roman century, played by the Armados de Orihuela; the wicked king of Judea, Herod, and his great entourage; the living Bethlehem, interpreted by 'La Barqueta'; farmers, shepherds, farmers and artisans accompanied by their animals: oxen, donkeys, sheep, goats and geese.

During the parade, the musical note has been put by the three Benidorm bands: Unió Musical, L'Illa de Benidorm and La Nova, accompanied by the 'Xirimiters' of the Marina. Throughout the tour, the Department of Festivities has distributed 3,000 kg of candy, 2,000 toys and thousands of stories with the history of the Magi, published by the City Council. The parade has ended with a pyrotechnic show.
