The 'Sustainable Development Objectives' arrives at the IES of Benidorm

Los ‘Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible’ llegan a los IES de Benidorm

The campaign explains to young people these objectives sponsored by the UN, including ensuring access to water in all regions of the world

The City Council of Benidorm has taken to the secondary schools of the city an informative campaign to raise awareness among young people about the 17 Sustainable Development Objectives of the United Nations (UN). This campaign is part of the actions promoted by the Alliance of Cities for Sustainable Development, a network created by the General Directorate for Cooperation and Solidarity of the Generalitat and of which the Benidorm City Council is a part.

Specifically, within that Alliance, Benidorm abandons the 'Water and Sanitation' objective, a purpose that is to raise awareness of the importance of this resource and to design policies that guarantee water availability, sustainable management and sanitation in All the points of the planet.

The publicity campaign has been developed throughout the week in the IES Pere Maria Orts i Bosch, Beatriu Fajardo de Mendoza and L'Almadrava, where they have installed three roll-ups that have QR codes that give access to videos 9 seconds and explanatory sheets.

IES L'Almadrava Environment and Health Week

At the L'Almadrava Institute, the Sustainable Development Objectives campaign coincided with the Week of Environment and Health, which seeks to instill sustainable and healthy attitudes among students through workshops on how to make soaps and cleaning products Exhibitions, film screenings, talks and excursions.
