This afternoon the fifteenth edition of the Vertical Ascent to the Grand Hotel Bali was celebrated, which is part of the world circuit of the Tower Runnin World Association. Some 400 athletes participated in the event in Elite, Open and Fire categories. In the latter have participated 32 professionals who have ascended the 52 floors and 924 steps loaded with all their emergency equipment. The Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo and the Councilor for Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez, attended the event.
In the women's Open category, Celeste Pérez arrived first, followed by Bienvenida Amorós and Lin Naehje. In the men's Open, he has won J. Antonio Mena and behind him Abcerrahim Hanzaza and Carlos Tejeda. As far as the Elite category is concerned, in the women's category, Wafiya Benali came in first, who took the test record. Behind her, Lenka Svabikova and Maria Beltrán. In Men's Elite, the first to reach the top of the hotel was Christian Riedl and behind him, George Heimann and Stefan Steffina.
