Street Cleaning begins a new campaign for hosing downall the neighbourhoods in Benidorm

The Department of Street Cleaning of Benidorm City Council has started a new campaign of disinfection that will cover all the neighbourhoods in the city and will be carried out during the night shift, as explained by councillor Luis Navarro.

This intervention, which began last night in the upper part of Colonia Madrid, will continue throughout the day to complete the areas of difficult access with the incorporation of a high-pressure water-cleaning vehicle. In the afternoon, the work will focus on removing the remains found under the parked vehicles. For this, a blower, a hydro-cleaning vehicle and a sweeping machine will be used. The objective is that each neighbourhood can be completed in a maximum of 48 hours.

To carry out this new sweeping campaign, eight workers will be employed: two drivers, two drivers, three specialist workers and a specialist blowing machine. As for mechanical means, a tanker truck, a sweeper, a blower and two high-pressure water cleaners will be used.
