Sports approves the bases to help the development and promotion of local women's sport in 2021
The Local Government Board (JGL) of Benidorm yesterday approved the regulatory bases of the subsidy for local women's sports this year, as indicated by the Sports Councilor, Mariló Cebreros. These grants, added the mayor, "are intended for activities, projects and programs of a sports nature whose purpose is the promotion and encouragement of non-professional women's sports and that are considered in accordance with the general municipal planning in matters of sports promoted by clubs registered in the Municipal Registry of Sports Entities of the City Council ”.
This subsidy excludes activities already programmed by the Council and direct nominative subsidies to entities and clubs that have been granted direct subsidies.
The clubs or entities that request the aid must be legally constituted and registered in the Municipal Registry at least one year old, must not be for profit, must be up to date with the payment of their tax obligations and must have duly justified the grants received in previous years.
Cebreros explained that "the budget credit provided for this call amounts to 100,000 euros" and added that "applications will have a submission period of 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) ”. Subsequently, a Technical Commission will be in charge of verifying, evaluating and evaluating all the requests and then raising a resolution proposal that will have to be approved by the Local Government Board.
The total amount that each of the applicant entities can receive in this call will not exceed 20,000 euros.
The application and documentation must be submitted to the electronic headquarters of the City Council through the website https://sede.benidorm.org and will consist of filling in the application form that will be provided at the City Council, a summary of the programs developed in 2021 with the characteristics of the beneficiaries, a statement of the reasons for the request, the objectives of the sports activity aimed at women in all its categories, a detailed description of the activity and a planned start and end calendar for the activities.
