The Spanish Under 16 football team has beaten Switzerland 1-0 in the second friendly match they have played this week in Benidorm, thanks to a penalty goal by Adrián Martín from Betis FC.
Last Tuesday, in the first match, José Lana's men defeated the Swiss with three goals scored by Paco Esteban, twice, and Iván Heredia. Full of victories for those of Lana who assumed the maximum responsibility of the Sub 16 just over a week ago.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, together with the councillor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros and the mayor of Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez, have witnessed the match, which was also attended by the vice president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Enrique Ortola; the president of the Football Federation of the Valencian Community (FFCV), Salvador Gomar; and the delegate in Alicante, Damián López.
