The program has lasted six months
The six operators hired with the EMCORP program complete arrangements in social centers
The six operators hired by the City Council through the EMCORP program, aimed at unemployed people over 30 years and subsidized by the SERVEF, have completed a series of arrangements in different municipal offices. During the six months that the program has lasted, these workers have performed maintenance work on buildings, acting in the social centers of La Torreta, José Llorca Linares, Tanit and Pepa Esperanza; and in several educational centers.
The Councilor for Employment, Mª Jesús Pinto, stressed "the importance of Social Initiative programs in the reintegration of workers in the labor market, since they are people who had been unemployed for a long time, which complicated their access to said market. "
The EMCORP has been subsidized by the SERVEF with 50,164.45 euros through funds from the SEPE (Public State Employment Service), and joins the EMCORD program that ended last week. In total both programs have allowed the recruitment of ten people and have involved a total investment of 86,270.15 euros.
