Seven school groups will represent their works at the XXI Mostra de Teatre a l'Ensenyament
The contest will take place from 2 to 5 May
Seven school groups will take part next week in the XXI Mostra de Teatre a l'Ensenyament organized by Benidorm City Council in collaboration with the city's educational centers, where there will be space for comedy, drama with touches of thriller, musical adaptations or revisions of classics.
The schools: Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Els Tolls, Bautista Lledó and Aitana; the Institute of Secondary Education (IES) Mediterrània, Tossal Teatre and the theater group of the IES of La Nucia - as a guest - will be the protagonists of this edition of the Mostra, which begins on Tuesday 2 May and will continue until Friday 5
Three of the seven works to be staged are addressed to the general public; two others to school children and first cycle of primary education; and the remaining two, to students in the second cycle of primary.

Tuesday, May 2
10.30 hours. José Llorca Linares Social Center. Theater Group of 6º CEIP Bautista Lledó, directed by Anabel Díaz. El Dr. Manzano corta por lo sano. Aimed at 4th, 5th and 6th grade students.
20.00 hours. Hall of Acts of the Town Hall. Tossal Theater, theater group of teachers of Primary and Secondary under the direction of Manuel Palazón. La llamada de los patos. Aimed at the general public.
Wednesday, May 3
09.45 hours. Hall of Events of CEIP Els Tolls. 4-year-old balloon class directed by Mamen Sánchez Mercader. La boda de la ratita. For students of Infantil and first cycle of Primary.
10.30 hours. José Llorca Linares Social Center. Theater Group of 6 CEIP Aitana, directed by Elsa Sánchez and Juanjo Torres. They represent the work ¿Escuela de futuro? For students from 3rd to 6th grade.
20.00 hours. Hall of Acts of the Town Hall. Gaudint Teatre -IES La Nucia, guest group. 'Todos eran mis hijos', by Arthur Miller directed by Manuel Gimeno. General public.
Thursday, May 4
20.00 hours. Hall of Acts of the Town Hall. IES Mediterrània of 4º ESO under the direction of Nicolás Pardo. Odysseus en Ithaca, based on Homer's Odyssey, director's version. Directed to the general public and especially to students of 4º of ESO and Bachiller.
Friday, May 5
10.30 hours. José Llorca Linares Social Center. Class of 1º of the CEIP Vasco Núñez de Balboa under the direction of Marta Correcher. Adaptation of The Lion King. Aimed at children and elementary school students.
