Reception at City Hall for participants in the International Poetry Festival
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, have received today in the Mayor's office some of the poets participating in the fifth edition of the International Poetry Festival that from yesterday, Monday the 8th until Saturday the 13th, it is celebrated in the city.
Among the attendees, the directors of the contest, Julio Pavanetti and Annabel Villar, thanked the mayor for the support received by the City Council in organizing the event that brings together, along with local and Spanish authors, poets from countries such as Egypt, Poland, Uruguay, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Estonia or Greece.
It should be noted that most of the Festival events have been scheduled in the City Hall Assembly Hall. There the rhapsodes will alternate the recitation of verses with musical activities, meetings with secondary school students of the city and the tribute, on the centenary of his birth, to the Valencian poet Vicent Andrés Estellés.
