The Proclamation and the inauguration of Plaza del Ayuntamiento welcome Christmas

The mayor of Benidorm, Agustín Navarro, attended the Christmas proclamation along with the councillor of Fiestas, Cristina Escoda; the senator Agustín Almódobar; many councilors of the municipal corporation; Queens of the Major Patron Festivities, María Pérez and Megan Butterton and Megan; and many neighbors and children who crowded the town hall square.
  
After the show, Agustín Navarro and the queens María Pérez and Megan Butterton congratulated Christmas to all attendees. After the mayor's words the artistic lighting of the Christmas Square took place.

At the Chirstmas square there are children's rides and an ice rink, which is one of its greatest attractions.
