As usual, the plenary session is broadcast live on the web, Facebook, YouTube and Onda Benidorm
The plenary session of Benidorm Town Hall can be followed on the municipal multimedia platforms
Benidorm City Council has called the Ordinary Plenary 03/2020 for Monday, April 27, at 9 in the morning. The novelty is its development via telematics, given the restrictions on mobility and confinement measures for the population in accordance with Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, and the successive extensions through royal decrees 476/2020, of 27 of March; 387/2020, of April 10; and 492/2020, of April 24, being extended until 00'00 hours on May 10, 2020.
The development of this possibility of development of the plenary session by electronic means was agreed at the Board of Spokespersons on Tuesday, April 7, who, by applying virtual presence through active videoconference, agreed to act on the Municipal Organic Regulation (ROM) and enable this modality in the Regime of Sessions and voting of the municipal collegiate bodies.
As reported then, the new ROM articles now include remote sessions, by electronic and telematic means, both for ordinary and extraordinary sessions, when there are exceptional situations of force majeure, serious collective risk or public catastrophes that prevent or they disproportionately hinder the normal functioning of the face-to-face system in them, as is the case at hand in the face of the health and social crisis caused by Covid19.
The system of live broadcasts of the plenary sessions is the usual one developed by the Benidorm City Council in accordance with the provisions of Article 70 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime -LRBRL-, which provides that the plenary sessions, in general, are public.
Benidorm City Council reminds the public that this, and all plenary sessions, can be followed through the municipal website (https://benidorm.org/es/ay Ayuntamiento/el-pleno), of the social network Benidorm City Council Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ay Ayuntamientodebenidorm), from the YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7--f5p_b4Lc) from the Onda Benidorm multimedia platform, from municipal television channel (https://benidorm.org/comunicacion/es/tv), by the municipal radio station Onda Benidorm at 100.6 Modulated Frequency and by the station's social network Facebook (https: //www.facebook. com / ondabenidorm).
