This Friday, Benidorm City Hall Assembly Hall hosted the first of the concerts that make up the cycle of Great Recitals organized by the Department of Culture for 2024. The musician Carlos Cipelletti and his 'Latin Jazz Solo Piano' concert aroused great interest from the public, who filled this space to enjoy a recital by the young Spanish pianist, composer and arranger, with Franco-Cuban roots.

Cipelleti is a two-time winner of the Latin Grammy Foundation Scholarship and a four-time winner of the Spanish Association of Artists and Performers Scholarship. Awarded first prize in the Málaga International Jazz Festival Competition, Portón del Jazz and in the '7 Virtual Jazz Club', he has also been distinguished for his outstanding academic achievements at the Alfonso X el Sabio University.

His most recent project and first album, titled HYBRID/C, is a musical and cultural fusion project with a common point that is Afro-Cuban music and jazz, which serves as a vehicle on this journey to the roots of Cuban music and Afro-Cuban culture from a modern musical perspective. The works performed received numerous ovations from the audience that filled this auditorium, among whom were different members of the Municipal Corporation who did not want to miss the event.
