The last performance of the improvement works in the Old Town has been the suppression of the steps that were in this section
The pedestrian route connecting Castelar square and La Señoría square is now 100% accessible, after they have replaced the existing staircase down and put a ramp that will allow the passage of people with reduced mobility in one of the points most transited in the Old Town as it gives access to the castle. The adequacy of this pedestrian route is the last performance planned within the project to improve the Old Town. In addition, last month it has also been active the improvement and rehabilitation of the pavement of Plaza de la Constitution. It has also been improved the road surface from Carmela Martínez street to the square, and from here to the junction with Quatre Cantons and Alicante streets. The works have been executed by Pavasal commercial and have assumed a cost of 47,900.10 euros.
