The promoter announced its unilateral decision just minutes before making it official on social media; a decision we deeply regret.
With the previous contract having expired this past July without the possibility of renewal, this City Council has always been keen to reach an agreement to guarantee the festival's continuation in Benidorm. However, the conditions demanded by the promoter to remain in the city are incompatible with the City Council's new requirements for event management. Among these, one of the main issues concerns scheduling, specifically the requirement that the music broadcast end at 2:30 a.m. on weekends.
We would like to thank Producciones Baltimore for the experience shared over these 14 years, during which Benidorm has improved its standing as an events city, and the promoter has expanded to other regions and cities.
