Nearly half a thousand people attend the traditional Day of Coexistence at Doble Amor center
Doble Amor Occupational Center held its annual Coexistence Day this morning and afternoon which, for more than twenty years, has brought together families, users and friends to enjoy the meeting and, as on this occasion, a great paella for 450 people. It was a sunny day, unlike last year, attendees tasted paella and witnessed the 'cremà' of a falla made by the centre's students and instructors.
The Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí, and other members of the Municipal Corporation participated in the event along with the president of Doble Amor Center, José Luis Calvo, monitors, technicians and users of what has become a reference centre in the province and the entire Valencian Community in attention to people with functional diversity.
Shortly before noon, the monument was placed and a little later, the 'xirimita' and the 'tabalet' announced the party. Then the giant paella arrived and the final touch was the burning of the monument, (La cremà).
