The municipal library donates fifty books and children's games for the Pediatrics ward of Tomás Ortuño's health center
The municipal library of Benidorm has donated fifty books and children's games for the Pediatrics waiting room of Tomás Ortuño health center. The councilor of Historical Heritage and Culture, Ana Pellicer, explained that "we have not hesitated to collaborate with the health center in this initiative that seeks to make more bearable and entertaining the passage of the smallest patients for the consultation of Pediatrics."
The councilor has been in charge of delivering the batch of books and games to the auxiliaries of Pediatrics department Mª José Noguera and María Agulló.
Pellicer has detailed that books have been delivered for ages from 0 to 12 years and also some children's puzzles that will be available to children who attend medical consultations in Pediatrics. In addition to Spanish, in the batch of books some copies in Valencian, English and Romanian have been included.
The councilwoman has transferred to the heads of the health center "the provision of Benidorm City Council to maintain this collaboration and go replacing books or games when they deteriorate or be necessary."
