Ministry personnel are working on the AP-7 bridge beam that was damaged by the impact of a heavy crane
This Monday, the section between the Raphael and La Razón roundabouts, in the ascending direction, will be closed to traffic for repair work

This Monday, June 16, the section between the Raphael and La Razón roundabouts on the extension of Juan Pablo II Avenue will be closed to traffic again, heading upstream, due to repair work on a beam of the AP-7 bridge. The Councillor for Mobility, Francis Muñoz, announced this, explaining that "the repair work carried out by the Ministry began on Friday," after the arm of a heavy-duty crane impacted the bridge on Thursday.
In this first phase of repairs, "only one lane of traffic was required, but starting this Monday, the work will require both." Therefore, traffic will be suspended.
While this closure is in place, the City Council recommends using alternative routes to access the AP-7 Poniente from Benidorm.
