The Ministry increases the financing of Benidorm Early Care Center to 303,398 euros in 2024

La conselleria aumenta la financiación del Centro de Atención Temprana de Benidorm hasta los 303.398 euros en 2024

Benidorm Early Care Center will see the funding for its management increased this year, which will amount to 303,398.60 euros, following the approval by the Local Government Board of the Benidorm City Council of the 2024 addendum announced by the Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies.

The proposal by the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí, has been approved by the Government Board and “represents a significant increase in the financing of the Early Care Center, which has 46 funded places,” the councillor indicated. The addendum to the file is dated April 3 and is part of the 2021-24 program contract signed between the Second Vice Presidency, the Ministry and the City Council for inter-administrative and financial collaboration and coordination.

In that contract program, it was already established that it could be updated by agreement of the parties through addenda whenever the objective was to expand services or benefits. This addendum will be valid from January 1 until December 31.

Early Care Centers are specific centers that are made up of teams of multidisciplinary professionals, with degrees in their corresponding disciplines and specialization in child development and early care. In these centres, children from 0 to 6 years old who have developmental disorders or are at risk of suffering from them and their families are cared for, and have been evaluated by the corresponding teams of primary care pediatric services or hospital centres. the Department of Health. “These services are provided primarily in the centre, but in natural contexts, they may also be provided at home or in the educational centre depending on the needs detected,” according to the councillor.

The general objectives are to provide care and preventive treatment to early-age boys and girls with developmental problems to enhance their abilities, facilitate their adequate maturation in all areas and allow them to achieve the highest level of personal development and social inclusion.
