Benidorm continues its great days of celebration. At 11.00 two free activities began: a playground in the Plaza de Sus Majestades the Kings of Spain and the release of heifers in the bullring. At 11.30 a mass has been sung by the Coral Association of Benidorm, in the Parochial Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana, which have been attended by festeros and authorities in parade from Casa del Fester. After the mass, the traditional aerial bombardment and walk through the streets of the center of Benidorm to Plaza de la Hispanidad where Pirotecnia Valenciana has shot in a little over six minutes an intense 'mascletà' that has been initiated by the queens Mayor and Infantil, Anna Galiana and Àngela Antón, who were accompanied by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; the president of the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals 2017, Antonio Vicente Fuster; and that of the Association of Penyes 'Verge del Sofratge', Mariano Nájera.
Today's events have continued with the contest of trimmers in the bullring and the rock show for children in Hort de Colón. But the thing does not end here. At 7:00 pm, the procession is scheduled to depart in honor of the patron saint, followed by the lighting of the Estampeta in Plaza de San Jaime. At night, rock in Hort de Colón, starting at 22.30, with the performances of Terrible Min and Rotten Pumpkin. At 23.00, in the Plaza de San Jaime will sing 'Les copletes a la Mare de Deu', at 0.30 the group 'indie' 'The blue house' will perform in the Plaza de Sus Majestades and at 2.00 there will be a 'correfocs' that will travel the main streets of the center of Benidorm.
