Exposición Pintura

One more year, Espai d'Art del Ayuntamiento shows a painting exhibition signed by the students of the painting workshops of Maduixa Art and Benidorm Cosmopolitan Association. The Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez; members of the municipal Corporation; and the director of Maduixa Art, Laia Ginard; They have toured the exhibition together with part of the 'amateur' artists who participate in the exhibition, which can be seen in the hall of the Town Hall until April 27.

In total, there are more than 70 exhibited works of different techniques and themes ranging from country landscapes to scenes from Benidorm and other cities around the world, through portraits, animals, or the reinterpretation of some of the most iconic works in the history of art.

The Councilor for Culture highlighted "the great work" of Laia Girard, in charge of Maduixa d'Art and Benidorm Cosmopolitan Association, whose classes take place in La Torreta and José Llorca Linares social centers; as well as the diversity of authors who exhibit their works, with ages from 5 years.

Pérez encouraged artists up to 35 years old from Maduixa Art and Benidorm Cosmopolitan to participate in the next New Creators contest in the painting modality; a “very consolidated” contest and whose bases will be published “shortly”. Ginard, for her part, thanked the support of the Department of Culture which, through this exhibition, allows students to exhibit their works.
