The Palau d'Esports hosts for two days tournaments of video games, exhibitions and documentaries
This morning has been closed the third edition of the Lan Technological Party organized by the Department of Youth in Carrer de la Pilota of the Palau d'Esports l'Illa in Benidorm. This time there have been thousands of young people from Benidorm and other localities from Alicante. Gamers have been able to enjoy an extensive program of activities such as the screening of documentaries, exhibitions of consoles, exhibitions, competitions. The City Council has also set up a camping area.
The aim of this technological event, "with great acceptance among young people" as pointed out by the Youth Department is "to promote alternative leisure through video games", as well as to improve "training and employability options in the sector ". The momentum and greater influx of this III Lan Party coincided with the end of the handball match played in the Palau, on the evening of Saturday, between 20.00 and 22.00 hours.
Participation in the Lan Party has been free. Some 25 machines plus the powerful personal computers have been made available to players. There have been tournaments of FIFA 18, Tekken, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Counter Strike, Naruto and Call of Duty, among others.
