La Casa de La Mancha celebra su XXVII Festival de la Vendimia

La Casa de La Mancha in Benidorm and the region celebrated its XXVI Harvest Festival last night with the presence of the acting mayor, Ana Pellicer, the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, the Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, the Deputy Minister for Institutional Relations Castilla La Mancha, Margarita Sánchez Fernández, the Councilor for Infrastructure and Public Works of the City of Albacete, Arturo Gotor, herald and maintainer of the event and the queens of the Major Patron Fiestas Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor, accompanied by their courts of honor and of its president, Roberto Carretero.

The central act of this festival took place in Gambo Street, proclaiming the young Sonia Honrubia Picazo as Queen of the Harvest 2019 accompanied by the patroness Sonia Martí Morales, the ladies Jessica Navarro García and Lucía Moreno González and the president of the House of La Mancha, Loren Torres Escudero.

The acting mayor, Ana Pellicer wanted to express her gratitude with the entire La Mancha community "it is a pleasure to join this proclamation at the Harvest Festival, a celebration with so much tradition and so much evocation. Wine and grapes unite us in history , since Benidorm, in dry land, produced 7,000 pitchers of wine and 800 arrobas of dry grapes a long time ago, we celebrated Castilla La Mancha Day and a multitude of Manchego events with you and we already considered you 'Benimanchegos'. they have become an important sociocultural force of Benidorm and region. "

"Castillo de Almansa" Choir and Dance Group of Albacete closed the event.
