La Falla Benidorm Centro exalts its Major Falleras for the festive exercise 2023

The Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, honorary president

If yesterday it was the turn of Rincón de Loix Falla, today it was Benidorm Central District Falla that has presented its Senior Falleras for the 2023 financial year: the young Sonia Ferré and the girl Isabella Sola. Both take office when the 50th anniversary of Falleras Mayores in Benidorm is celebrated, a circumstance that the mayor, Toni Pérez, recalled during the exaltation ceremony, which was also attended by the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; the Major and Child Queens of the Major Patronal Festivities, Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera; the president of the Commission, Vicente Solaz; as well as the president of the Fallera Local Board, Ana Finez, and representatives of festive entities of the city.

The act, in which the falleras and falleros that make up the courts of honor of the entity chaired by Javier Rodrigo have been presented, has counted as a maintainer with the dancer and fallera Mª José Moya Gisbert; which has been followed on stage by the falleros and falleras of honor of 2023. In addition, for this festive exercise, the Falla Benidorm Centro has appointed the Councilor for Culture and Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez, president of honor.

During his intervention at the closing of the act, the mayor recalled the first monument that the Falla Benidorm planted in 1972 at Plaza de la Hispanidad, which was the first in the city; while he stressed that "in just 40 days" this "traditional" festival will fill the streets with "light, joy, color, and life."
