Athletes of elite and junior category hold a 3-week training camp in the skatepark
Kazakhstan Skating Team trains in Benidorm
The Kazakhstan Ice Skating team has chosen the facilities of the Benidorm skating rink for a three-week training camp, which will be held on alternate days. The athletes of elite and junior category have started their training this morning at the facilities of Benidorm, approved for more than a year to host tests and national competitions.
The Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, this morning has welcomed the athletes, who compete in the modalities of speed and depth on ice and among which are several skaters with Olympic track records and world championships and Asians like Denis Kuzin , Romar Kerch and Vekaterina Aidova.
Along with the coach of the Kazakh national team, Dimitry Babenko, the Spanish skater Iñigo Vidondo Fernández de Larrinoa, who competes both on ice and on wheels and who has, among others, the title of Spanish champion of Spain, has also traveled to Benidorm. Skating marathon and that was bronze in the general of the World Championship.
