I March Contra el Olvido in La Cala de Benidorm to the benefit of AFA Marina Baixa
More than a hundred people participated this afternoon in the Solidarity March 'Contra el Olvido', organized by Montbenidorm Neighborhood Association of La Cala with the support of the Department of Social Welfare and Citizen Participation for the benefit of the Association of Family and Alzheimer's patients of the Marina Baixa, AFA.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the councilor for Social Welfare, Angela Llorca and the councillor of Citizen Participation, Maria Jesus Pinto, made the tour, together with Garbiñe Mondragón, AFA and Teresa Garrido, president of the Neighborhood Association Montbenidorm . There was also a group of the Els Tolls Neighbors Association. The entourage departed at 19.00 hours on the Paseo de Tamarindos and shortly before 20.00 has reached the Ermita where they have been able to replenish forces and taste the 'solidarity cocas' prepared by neighbors of La Cala.
From Montbenidorm association they communicate that anyone who has not been able to participate in the ascent to the Ermita can still collaborate with AFA acquiring ballots for the draw of two tickets for the concert of David Guetta on 12 August in Benidorm, only cost one euro. The proceeds from this raffle, together with the proceeds from the sale of typical kitchens and artisan fans made by hand by AFA users, will be destined entirely to support the activities of the association, which for a little more than a month has fixed its headquarters in the Social Center 'Pepa Esperanza Llinares Llorca' in La Cala.
