I International Open in Spain of Kick Boxing, 200 bouts a day in the Palau d' Sports
More than 700 athletes from 16 countries compete this weekend at Palau d'Esports l'Illa de Benidorm facilities in the I International Open of Spain organized by the Spanish Federation of Kick Boxing and Muaythai with the collaboration of the Department of Sports and Kick Boxing Benidorm.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the mayor of Sports, Mariló Cebreros and other members of the government team have come this morning to the municipal pavilion to check the evolution of the tournament and enjoy some fights in this sport.
During their visit, Pérez and Cebreros congratulated Kevin Koffi, a native of Utiel (Valencia), the world champion in the 84 kg category, who obtained his title just a month ago in Venice (Italy).
The I International Open of Spain of Kick Boxing is sponsored, among others, by Comunitat de l’Esport, the Program to Support Sports Competitions of the Valencian Community (PAC-CV), the Spanish Olympic Committee and the Trinidad Alonso Foundation.
