It will share space with Foietes Municipal Branch and the Consumer Information Office (OMIC) and will serve the public starting on Thursday

The Generalitat's PROP service moves this Wednesday to its new location on Beniardá Avenue

14 April 2026
El servicio PROP de la Generalitat se traslada este miércoles a su nueva ubicación en la avenida de Beniardá

The Valencian Regional Government's PROP service will begin operating this Thursday, April 16th, at its new location on Beniardá Avenue. Specifically, it will be located at number 12 on this avenue, opposite the current offices and in the former courthouse building. This was announced by the Councillor for Municipal Branches, Mónica Gómez, who noted that "the Municipal Branch for Foietes-Colonia Madrid neighbourhood has been operating in these same premises for just over two months, and the Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC) also opened last week."

The councillor explained that the move to these new premises will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, and PROP will be closed to the public on that day. Public service will resume as normal on Thursday. Mónica Gómez also highlighted that “this relocation was planned from the moment the premises of the old courthouses were made available” and that, with this change, “as has already happened with the municipal branch and the Consumer Information Office (OMIC), the Citizen Service Point (PROP) will also have a more modern and spacious facility to better serve those who need to carry out any procedure related to the regional government.”

In addition to the municipal branch, the OMIC and the PROP, the City Council also plans to relocate other public services to this new municipal headquarters on Beniardá Avenue, which will be specified in the coming months.

The councillor for the department recalled that this space has been managed by the Benidorm City Council since May of last year, when the Generalitat (Valencian regional government) transferred the eleven premises on Beniardá Avenue, where the city's courthouses were located until the construction of the Palace of Justice. These premises occupy an area of approximately 1,250 square meters and have remained closed and unused for more than a decade due to the refusal of the previous regional administration of PSOE and Compromís to cede them to the municipality, as the City Council demanded on several occasions.
