Five schools close the first participation of Benidorm in the project 'L'escola canta'
Nearly 400 Primary students from five schools in Benidorm, together with the Musical Union, offered a concert yesterday at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera as a closing to the first participation of the city in the project 'L'escola canta '.
A large audience gathered in the auditorium to listen to CEIP students Miguel Hernández, Ausiàs March, Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Bautista Lledó and Els Tolls perform the cantata 'La missió de Robi', composed expressly for the 'L'Escola canta' project ', promoted by the Ministry of Education and with the collaboration of the Departments of Culture and Education.
The councilors of both areas, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Maite Moreno, and members of the Corporation followed the interpretation of 'La missió de Robí', a work by Marcel Ortega and Isabel Marín that is divided into six acts and combines music, choral singing, choreography, and dramatized scenes.
