'Fira de Pasqua' opens with more than twenty stalls selling local products to raise funds for the Major Festivities
The Commission of Major Patron Festivities 2018 has inaugurated this morning the 'Fira de Pasqua', which will remain open throughout the weekend in the streets Gambo and Martínez Alejos with more than twenty stalls selling typical products from the region, traditional meals at popular prices and sale of palms for the procession of Palm Sunday.
At the inauguration of the fair were the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the mayor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; the queens, Fátima Carrobles and Anna Calbo, with their respective courts of honor; the president of the Fiestas Commission 2018, Francisco Marín; as well as the councillors José Ramón González de Zárate, Arturo Cabrillo, Paquita Ripoll, Tere Águila and Inés Reyes.
In this 'Fira de Pasqua' neighbors and tourists can find sausages, salted meats, oils, typical wines, sweet wines, a variety of bakery, chocolates, wicker, toys, medals of patrons and ceramics, among other typical products such as 'Tarta' Benidorm '. During the day today and tomorrow morning there will be sale of a variety of 'palms' for the celebration of 'Palm Sunday' tomorrow 25th.
