Exhibition of the La Barqueta XXII School Drawing and Painting Competition at the Casa del Fester

"Starting today, the exhibition of the twenty-second edition of La Barqueta School Drawing and Painting Competition, organized by the cultural and recreational association every year with the collaboration of Benidorm City Council, is open to the public.

An institutional delegation, led by the acting mayor, the councilors of Culture and Festivals, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Mariló Cebreros, along with other members of the city council, accompanied La Barqueta and its president, Francisco Llorens, Paco Rosera, at the opening of the exhibition, which will remain open to the public until March 15.

This year 1,746 works were submitted by students from the three cycles of Primary and Special Education from all the schools in the city. The organization selected 325 works to compete for the prizes.

On Wednesday, March 12, the award ceremony will be celebrated at the City Hall’s Assembly Hall. Approximately one hundred young artists from Benidorm will be recognized."
