Everything is ready in Julio Iglesias auditorium of Parque de l’Aigüera for the concert that tonight will be offered from 22.00 by El Kanka, in charge of opening the ‘Benidorm Summer Nights’ cycle. Just a few hours after the doors open, the Councilor for Events and Festivals, Jesús Carrobles, has visited the auditorium accompanied by representatives of the Corporation's groups to check how the venue has adapted to the rules and sanitary instructions required for the performance of outdoor shows.
Carrobles recalled that both the distribution and the arranged device guarantee compliance with the safety distance between attendees, with reduced capacity ranging from 400 people to a maximum of 800. In the case of this first concert, it is expected that around half a thousand people go to the concert of the singer-songwriter from Málaga tonight, one of the artists with the most projection in this atypical 2020 and who is starting a tour these days that will take him to tour much of the Spanish geography
Among the measures envisaged is capacity control. Attendees must remain sit keeping the safety distance or wear masks. At the access there will be a hydrogel available to the public and at the beginning and at the end of each performance all the material will be disinfected.
Regarding the distribution of the enclosure, the box area will be bounded with spaces for 2 people, while in the stands two different areas have been established: one with groups of two chairs, and the other with tables and chairs that will occupy 3 to 4 people. In silver the chairs for the assistants will be distributed in groups of two respecting the safety distances.
The doors will open at 8:00 p.m., and the performance will begin at 10:00 p.m.
After El Kanka, ‘Benidorm Summer Nights’ will have the performances of M-Clan (day 9), Carlos Sadness (July 18), Ara Malikian (July 23), Martita de Graná (day 24) and Coque Malla (day 25). In addition, the first names of the cycle for August have already been announced, among which are Amaral, Los Secretos and Comandante Lara.
The head of Events has indicated that this concert program is an occasion for "people to come to Benidorm and enjoy our city, music and culture in complete safety".
