Eurovision and Benidorm Fest fans create a national association to promote the contest

This Saturday, the Municipal Building of Torrejó hosted the official constitution of the Fan Organization of the Eurovision Song Contest and Benidorm Fest (OFEB), a cultural and national association that was created to serve as a channel of communication and socialization between fans of both events. Likewise, its objectives also include promoting them as musical and cultural exponents of Spain, Europe and the international community; as well as the defence of the social and cultural values that inspire the celebration of both festivals, such as freedom, equality, respect for social and cultural diversity and solidarity between peoples, as stated in their statutes.

The Councilor for Festivals and Events, Jesús Carrobles, together with the Director of Communication and Participation of RTVE, María Eizaguirre, have welcomed this organization of 'Eurofans' and have wished its members a long career from now on.
