Equality organizes a empowerment course for women 'Actívate y triunfa'

The Department of Equality has organized for the next 16, 23 and 30 May a new edition, the second this year, of its empowerment program under the title 'Actívate y triunfa' and that will cover three aspects: communication, time and money . The action will take place, from 9.30 to 13.30 in the municipal facilities of the Social Center 'Jelena'.

The organization of this second edition responds "to the excellent reception and the results so beneficial for the participants", said this morning the mayor of Equality, Paquita Ripoll, who presented the activity accompanied by business adviser Diamantina Centeno, which will be the energizer of the meeting. "With this initiative," said the councilor, "it is intended to help and set guidelines to activate women on the path of equality."

On the other hand, Diamantina Centeno indicated that it will be "an eminently practical and intensive workshop" where women "will work hard and we will have fun". The empowerment program aims to create "a space where women can share their experiences and this is what makes us all help each other".

Participation in the course is free, although places are limited and in order of application. Registration can be made at the 'Jelena' Social Center, on Calle Olivos, 12 in Benidorm.
