Employment encourages young people under 30 to enroll in Youth Guarantee to increase their chances of finding a job
The mayor of the area, Mª Jesús Pinto, explained that "most of the training and employment programs developed by the City Council in collaboration with the state or regional administrations, and which are financed with European funds, require participants be registered in the Youth Guarantee System. That is why we consider it essential that young people who have not yet been able to enter the labor market enroll in the System so that they can expand their employability and training opportunities and be eligible for the programs we implement throughout the year ".
To enroll in the Youth Guarantee System and be a beneficiary of it, in addition to being under 30 years old, you must have Spanish nationality - or be a citizen of the European Union, of the States that are part of the European Economic Agreement or Switzerland-; be registered in any locality of the national territory: and have not received educational or training actions or have worked the day before the date of submission of the application.
The registration can be done through the electronic DNI on the website of the System http://www.empleo.gob.es/ca/garantiajuvenil/accesoJovenes.html, or in person at the Youth Information Center, located at Plaza SSMM los Reyes de España, from 07.45 to 15.15 hours.
