So far this aid of 63 euros has been granted to 674 minors for the 2022/2023 academic year
Education approves the second remittance for school supplies for students in the 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education
The vouchers are already available and the delivery centre depends on the beneficiary's school
The Local Government Board (JGL) has today approved the second remittance of aid for the acquisition of school supplies for students in the 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education in public and the catholic school in Benidorm. The councillor of Education, Maite Moreno, explained that "this second remittance corresponds to the applications received from May 2 to June 30 presented by families who did not have the aid last year." A remittance, she has indicated, that "joins the first remittance approved ex officio by the City Council and which includes the students who already had the grant last year 2021/2022 and who will continue in Infant next year."
After recalling that the objective of this grant is "to help reduce the outlay on school supplies that families registered in Benidorm have to make in this cycle of Early Childhood Education", Moreno stressed that "for this next school year we have increased the maximum grant at 63 euros”.
According to the figures provided by Moreno, "to date, with the first two remittances approved, this grant for the acquisition of material has reached 674 minors, with a total amount of 42,462 euros."
The councillor has reported that “to these two remittances, at least a third will be added: that of the applications submitted as of July 1 by the families of the minors who join the 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education this year; that is, those born in 2019.” The term for these families is open until next September 30.
The purchase vouchers corresponding to the aid granted are now available to families.
As in previous years, different delivery points have been established depending on the school in which the minor is enrolled.
Thus, in the Department of Education, located on the third floor of the City Hall, the vouchers for the students of the CEIP Gabriel Miró, Mestre Gaspar López and Leonor Canalejas, and the catholic centre Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores can be collected. In the administrative extension of Els Tolls, the delivery of the CEIPS Puig Campana and Els Tolls is centralized; while the students of Bautista Lledó, Aitana and Vasco Núñez de Balboa schools have been assigned José Llorca Linares social centre.
The administrative extension of La Cala is the collection point for the families of the CEIP La Cala and El Murtal; Racó de l'Oix, for Serra Gelada school; and in the new Alfredo Corral-Maravall extension, for students from the Ausiàs March and Miguel Hernández centers.
The voucher will only be delivered to the requesting person. If you are not the applicant, you must provide authorization signed by the applicant, accompanied by a photocopy of the DNI of both. Likewise, no duplicates will be issued due to loss, theft or deterioration.
The councillor recalled that "these purchase vouchers can be exchanged until November 4 in Benidorm shops that have joined the initiative": Contalles Bookstore, Francés Bookstore, Maravall Graphics, Santos Ochoa Bookstore, Ulises Bookstore, Espriu Benidorm and Papelería Centro.
