The Fallas 2024 is just around the corner. Hundreds of residents and visitors have followed this afternoon the event that announces the imminent arrival of the Josephine festivities, the 'Crida', in which the three Fallas Associations in Benidorm -Els Tolls, Rincón de Loix and Benidorm Centro- have invited citizens to participate in these celebrations. An event held, as is traditional, in Gambo Street and attended, among others, by Mayor Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros; and members of the municipal corporation.

Later, in a joint speech, the 'Crida' itself, the falleras proclaimed the proximity of the festivities and invited Benidorm residents and tourists to accompany them and enjoy them. “The time has come to show off our clothes, for a party that is Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Let's enjoy it to the fullest and from here we encourage you to continue our culture, traditions and festivals” they said.

In that unanimous intervention, the falleras have advanced that “they will be intense days for all those who want to participate” and have stated that “the effort to keep this festivity.” For this reason, they have continued “Today is a day to celebrate, to laugh and to get excited. The time has come for Benidorm, for the heat of the party, for a party, for the Fallas.”

After the Crida of 'Ja estem en Falles' uttered by the falleras, the mayor also joined in, assured that “Benidorm is already shining” and announced that “they will be  wonderful days to live a festivity that is light, colour and fire.” ”. Toni Pérez has wished “that we have the best fiestas that we can dream of”

To the visitors following the 'Crida' event and who will soon return to their cities, the mayor has invited them "to return to Benidorm soon, in ten or fifteen days, because we have a great fiesta for you." Finally, he has expressed his wish to the three associations and the city that these imminent Fallas “are everything we expect from them.”
