An edition in which participants will talk about Shared Social Responsibility of the elderly, business and public administrations, will propose the creation of a Public Network of Housing for the Elderly.
In addition to Llorca, the national president of Telefónica Seniors, Luis Álvarez, participated in the opening of the congress; and Francisco Álvarez, general director of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism of the Generalitat Valenciana.
The head of Social Welfare thanked the organizers who once again have chosen Benidorm to hold this congress, which brings together more than 300 people who for several days will discuss Shared Social Responsibility and enjoy parallel activities in the city.
Llorca stressed that this conference serves to "open spaces for reflection and to find ways to improve the quality of life of people who gave all during their work, and who can still continue to contribute their worth, their experience and their talent to this society. "
She also added that society "must attend" the "demands and needs" of this group; and has influenced that "Shared Social Responsibility" on which the congress focuses "must be translated into concrete actions in favor of the elderly and dependent people, actions in which Benidorm City Hall is also involved.
