Julia Tripodo, winner of the XXI edition, opens the recital cycle accompanied by Miguel Ángel Ortega on piano
With a concert of cello and piano, Benidorm International Music Course begins
The thirty-second edition of the International Music Course and the twenty-second of the International Music Competition began last night with the opening concert by the winner of the previous edition, Julia Tripodo, who performed a cello concert accompanied on piano by Miguel Ángel Ortega.
With the capacity adapted to the requirements demanded by the health authorities, the the Assembly Hall hosted the first of the musical events. Performance that was attended by the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, and other members of the municipal corporation.
Course Concerts
The program from Monday 5 to Friday 9 July is made up of the following recitals:
Monday, July 5: Ángel Sanzo (piano), Ernesto Chuliá (trumpet) and Pepe Gallego (piano). At 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday July 6: Simón Diricq (saxophone), David Pons (saxophone) and Stefanos Spanopoulos (piano). At 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday, July 7: End of the XXII Benidorm Music Contest in memoriam Pedro Iturralde. Saxophone. At 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 8: Concert of the active students of the XXXII International Music Course of Benidorm. At 9:00 p.m.
Friday, July 9: Final concert will be performed by Michal Dmochowski (cello), Graham Jackson (piano), Savva Fatkulin (violin), Liza Yaroshinskaia (piano), the winner of the XXII Benidorm Music Contest and Stefanos Spanopoulos (piano), after which the closing ceremony will take place. At 10:00 p.m.
