Concentration of support for patients with rare diseases in Benidorm
Aerbeco asks health authorities for more support, more funding and more research on Rare Disease Day
With a concentration at the main door of the Town Hall and the reading of a manifesto, Benidorm has celebrated the World Day of Rare Diseases that is celebrated around the world on February 28. Aerbeco, the Association of Rare Diseases in Benidorm and Comarca, with the collaboration of the Council of Social Welfare, has installed a petition table in the Plaza de His Majesties the Kings of Spain with the purpose of raising awareness about these rare diseases and attracting Attention to the situation that many families live in our country.
The president of Aerbeco, Juan Miguel Bueno has started at 11.00 a.m. the reading of the manifesto, reading in which also the mayor of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca and representatives of all the municipal groups present that have shown, of that Support to the campaign undertaken by the association, a member of the Feder (Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases), which asks the health authorities for greater involvement and economic support for research in our country.
