L’Associació de Penyes organiza un festival de música ‘remember’ el 18 de agosto

The first thousand tickets go on sale for 15 euros

Verge del Sofratge Clubs Association, with the collaboration of the City Council and Los 40 Benidorm, has organized a 'remember' music festival on August 18th in Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera. The Summer Remember Music will bring together Paco Pil, Ice MC, Viceversa, Spanic and Dream Team Reload -composed by dj's Quique Tejada, Toni Peret and JM Castell-; and will have Bartual dj as a presenter.

The councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; the councilman of Events and Festivals, José Ramón González de Zárate; the president of Clubs Association, Dani Luque; José Luis Castro, members of the Board of Directors of the festive entity; and Juan Nieto, commercial director of Los 40, have presented today the details of this festival, which has an expected duration of around five hours.

Luque explained that Summer Remember Music is the result of several months of work and "an important economic effort" by the Association. The president of the members of the clubs indicated that "we hope that the auditorium will be filled to listen to this type of music", that in the last years has returned to be valid and to experience a boom of followers.

The councilor applauded "the initiative" and "the important commitment" of the Clubs Association for organizing a musical event of this scope, which will serve "to raise money so that the Major Patronal Festivities look brighter". Carrobles invited "all the supporters and the public in general" to attend the Summer Remember Music, which will open its doors at 8.30 pm.

The first performance, that of Viceversa, will begin at 9.30 p.m. Later it will be Spanic's turn; and then Dream Team Reload will arrive with three of the dj's that started the 'remember' music movement in Spain; and Ice MC, which will put the international touch to the appointment. Paco Pil will be the last one to pass through the festival's stage, which will close its doors at 02.30.

The first 1,000 tickets will go on sale at the price of 15 euros, according to Luque. Tickets can be purchased in the office of the Associació de Penyes in the Casa del Fester and in the box offices of Plaza Triangular and Benidorm Palace; and through www.entradascorreos.com and www.instanticket.es.
