El clarinetista benidormense Iván Marín cierra la cuarta edición del ciclo ‘Grandes Recitales’

Benidorm said goodbye yesterday to the fourth edition of 'Great Recitals' series with a concert by the clarinetist from Benidorm and the main clarinet of the Galician Symphony Orchestra, Ivan Marín, who was accompanied to the piano by Alicia González and who previously offered a 'masterclass' to students of the Municipal Conservatory 'José Pérez Barceló'. The first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, and the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, enjoyed this closing recital in which Marín and Giménez performed pieces by Brahms, Rabaul, Kovács and Poulenc, as well as a work composed by the coordinator of the cycle, Vicente Pérez Pellicer.

The Councilor for Culture highlighted the quality of the performers who have starred in the four recitals of this edition with which "we consolidated the Cycle and we bet on a first level musical program for our city." In his closing speech, Pérez said that the closing concert lived yesterday is the “sample” of the musical tradition of Benidorm, a city “full of musicians” formed in the three bands of the city and the Municipal Conservatory, “many of which "have developed" a great trajectory at national and international level ".

The councillor thanked the coordinator of the cycle "all the effort, desire and enthusiasm with which year after year" has developed its work in the configuration of "Great Recitals"; and advanced that "we are getting ready to prepare next year's cycle".

The first deputy mayor gave a detail to the coordinator of the Cycle; while the latter, the Councilor for Culture and Raúl Mahiques, Deputy Director of the Conservatory who was a professor of Iván Marín, delivered him and the pianist Alicia González a present for their participation in ‘Great Recitals’.
