CF Foietes Benidorm presents its adapted football project to the mayor
This morning CF Foietes Benidorm presented to the mayor, Toni Pérez, its adapted football project, integrated within the Federation of Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities (FEDI) of the Valencian Community, in which more than 20 players from the Doble Amor Center, of the Secanet Public Special Education Center of Vila Joiosa, of the Association of Relatives and Mentally Ill Patients (AFEM) of Marina Baixa, and of ASMIBE (Association of People with Disabilities of Benidorm and Region). It is the first team of its kind in the region.
Ben Atkinson, Manu Sánchez and Francisco Ivars participated in the meeting, on behalf of the sports entity chaired by Eitel Invernoz. The councillors of Sports and Social Welfare, Javier Jorda and Ángela Zaragozí, were present.
The new team will compete in the FEDI CV 8-a-side football league with Levante UD, CD Alaquàs, Hércules, or Primer Toque.
