The spokesperson for the Benidorm government responds to the PSOE and assures that the court ruling is being complied with
Caselles: “The studies and reports requested will tell us how to act at Plaza de Manizales”
The spokesperson for Benidorm government, Lourdes Caselles, has stated today that “the studies and reports that have been requested will be those that tell us how to act in the Plaza de Manizales”. The councillor has clarified that the City Council “is executing the sentence” of the contentious administrative court number 1 of Alicante “because an architect was hired to study and report on the problems and their causes in the aforementioned square”.
In this way, Caselles has responded to the press release of the socialist group in which its councillor Miguel Soldevila has stated that the City Council has not complied with the sentence indicated. “Mr Soldevila does not listen to what is answered in the information commissions to the questions that his group asks” has assured the popular spokesperson, who has recalled that “I already informed them that when the sentence arrived we began to comply with it by hiring an architect who would determine in reports the problems and consequences that the square had concerning a car park”.
For this reason, Caselles wanted to clarify that the relevant studies and reports “are being carried out, and from there we will see the actions that need to be carried out, either by the City Council or the property. But, in any case, the reports will tell us what needs to be done.” “The completion of these studies and reports,” the spokesperson continued, “indicate that the sentence is being carried out to remedy any damage that may have been caused, if that were the case, by the public works carried out in the square.”
