Carrasco is opened on Wednesday to traffic and the work moves to the stretch of Tomás Ortuño between Limones and Jupiter
Benidorm City Council and the company responsible for the work of the third phase of pedestrianization of Tomás Ortuño Street are planning to open Carrasco Street on Wednesday, February 13, once the renovation of the underground infrastructure of this road has been completed , and transfer the works to Tomás Ortuño section between Limones and Jupiter and El Pino streets. This section will be closed to traffic for approximately one month, time in which it is estimated that actions to improve the water network will be carried out.
Specifically, it is planned to renovate the entire waste water network of Tomás Ortuño with a new pipeline and a new collector; build a well for the collection of rainwater; prolong the collection network executed in the previous phase of pedestrianization; and change the supply network.
While this section is closed to traffic, vehicles can reach the health center of Tomás Ortuño through El Pino street.
