‘Costa Blanca Trophy’ is held during the days of yesterday and today
Benidorm welcomes the drivers of the 27 Rally La Nucía-Mediterráneo
The city of Benidorm today welcomed the drivers of the 27 Rally La Nucía-Mediterráneo 'Trofeo Costa Blanca', who have gathered at Plaza de SSMM Reyes de España after competing in the first special stages of the second and last stage of the event , promoted by Alicante Provincial Council and scoring for the FIA European Rally Trophy. The mayor, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, have witnessed together with the pilot Miguel Fuster the regrouping of the vehicles, which later have gone to the interior of the province to face the last two sections of the race, with the goal in La Nucía.
The first riders to arrive in Benidorm have reached Plaza de SSMM Reyes de España shortly before 12.30 pm; the first vehicle resuming the race at 1:09 p.m., at which time participants continued to arrive at the regrouping point.
After yesterday's 208 kilometers - about 69 timed - the best riders on the national scene today faced the queen stage of the competition. Ahead, 325 kilometers, 82.74 of them timed. The drivers are scheduled to start reaching the finish line at 6:00 p.m.
