Benidorm Tourism Foundation participated yesterday afternoon in networking with Dutch travel agents specialized in MICE (Meetings, incentives, congresses and events)
The day was held in a singular venue in Amsterdam known as the "Empire of the Emperor" and fourteen Spanish destinations and about thirty local buyers participated in it.
In order to attract a greater number of buyers, the Convention Bureau of Spain and the Spanish Office of Tourism in London, have opted for a different workshop format in which different tests and competitions have been carried out with the purpose of breaking the ice between destinations and agencies.
An intense 3-min networking and face-to-face meeting in which Visit Benidorm was able to interact with numerous Dutch MICE agents who showed interest in the offer that Benidorm can offer for groups of incentives, congresses, etc.
With this action, the Foundation intends to continue positioning the city as the ideal destination for tourists of congresses, incentives and events, a tourist profile of high purchasing power and which contributes favorably to the seasonal de-seasonalizing of the city's tourism activity.
