Benidorm reopens urban gardens after authorization by the Ministry of Health
The mayor appeals to the responsibility of the users and reminds them that they must maintain safety distances
Benidorm City Council reopens tomorrow, May 2, the city's urban gardens, after the authorization issued in this regard by the Ministry of Health published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE). As reported by the mayor, Toni Pérez, “the urban gardens on Italia street and La Cala will be open although, depending on their age, users must adhere to the times for working authorized by the Government in this phase of restrictions lifting, and not remain on the plots for more than two hours. ”
Toni Pérez has appealed "to the responsibility of users and common sense in this return to the activity of urban gardens, complying at all times with health guidelines, especially maintaining safety distances with other people".
The mayor has specified that “during their stay in the urban gardens, users should focus their activity on their plot and not make use of common spaces and areas, nor stay on the premises longer than the time set, sufficient to meet care needs of the plots and crops ”.
In anticipation of the opening of the urban gardens, this morning the Municipal Cleaning Service has reinforced the disinfection of these spaces.
Once the mobility to non-commercial gardens has been authorized by the Government of Spain, users are recommended to carry with them at all times the documentation that proves that they are beneficiaries of these municipal plots in case they are required by the police authority.
